As of 2021, breast cancer is the most common type of cancer amongst women and young ladies ages 15 to 39.

Aleisha Hunter, from Ontario, Canada, is the youngest breast cancer survivor in the world. In 2008, at age 2, Aleisha was diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer called juvenile secretory breast carcinoma. When she was 5, she underwent a radical mastectomy, a surgery in which the breast, chest muscles, and all lymph nodes under the arm are removed.

Can you imagine a surgery of such severity at such a young age? Cases like this have only increased in the past 22 years, and the most common defense should now be Awareness.
