Side-Swept Waves
Side-swept waves are undeniably sweet and classic. To achieve this look, all you need is a curling iron, a brush, and extra large bobby pins. Start by creating a deep side part. On the side with less hair, tuck your locks behind your ear, sweeping them across the nape of your neck and over your shoulder. Pin your hair in the back a few inches behind your ear. Use a curling iron to curl your side-swept hair towards your face.
After you curl your hair, you can create soft waves by gently brushing your locks or by running your fingers through your hair.

Heart Bun
Can any other style be more perfect for Valentines Day than wearing a heart in your hair? Super creative and unique, this half-up hair do is certainly worth a try. For this hairstyle, you can keep your hair straight, or for an even more romantic look, curl your hair using a curling wand.
Begin by splitting the hair in the middle of the back of your head into two separate small ponytails right next to each other, using small elastic hair ties to keep them in place.
To create the heart in the middle, start with the right ponytail, twisting it into half of a heart, securing it with bobby pins. Make sure to pin the hair on each side as you twist it, to ensure it stays in place and does not look messy. Repeat the same steps on the left side. Once you have finished twisting the left side, cross it over the right side to hide the bobby pins at the bottom of the heart.
Next, adjust the hair to ensure it looks like a heart. This may require adding or removing some bobby pins. While adorable, it can be difficult for some to create this hairstyle while unable to see exactly what they are doing. Therefore, it may be helpful to ask a friend or family member to assist you in creating this look.
French Braid Crown
A French braid will make you feel like a princess. It is the perfect combination of subtle loose hair and braid. Start by parting your hair on the left side. Next, split the hair into three smaller sections and alternate crossing the side strands over the middle, bringing new sections into the braid down towards the ear as you go.
Once you reach the ear, stop adding in new sections and braid the bottom into a regular three-strand braid. To keep the braid from unraveling at the end, crisscross two bobby pins at the end of the braid.
Create a second French braid on the right by picking up a small section of hair near the part and dividing it into three smaller sections crossing the side strands over the middle. Bring three more sections into the braid and then braid the rest into a regular three-strand braid. Crisscross two bobby pins at the end. Pull on the outer edges of both braids to make them a little more full. Then, bring both braids together at the back of your head, laying the left one over the right and tucking the ends underneath. Use a few bobby pins underneath the braids to keep them in place and accessorize with a pretty hair chain or heart-shaped clip.
Straight ponytail:
If you have trouble styling your own hair, you can still look glamorous by putting your hair into a ponytail. Brush your hair into a high or low ponytail using a boar bristle brush. Smooth your strands from your hairline to the base of your pony with a little gel. Lastly, wrap a small amount of hair around your ponytail to hide the elastic band.
